WORLD'S LAND SPEED RECORD
♦ SIR MALCOLM CAMPBELL TO RACE IN AMERICA (Received February 12, 12.10 a.m.) WASHINGTON, February 10. The American Automobile Association Contest Board to-day announced the receipt of a definite assurance from Sir Malcolm Campbell that he will attempt to set a new world's land speed record over the Salduro Lake bed, near Salt Lake City, Utah, in August.
