Here is a story of one of the tiredest men on earth. Without a word the storekeeper leant slowly towards our friend, turned his head slightly, and presented a pencil resting over his ear. The note was written, and the visitor held out the pencil to its owner. Again without a word, the head was slowly turned and the ear again presented to the visitor, who carefully laid the pencil back ia its resting place and walked out.
