HOME-BUILDING TO BE STIMULATED
! FINANCING PLANS IN N.S.W. SYDNEY, February 7. The .State Government has decided to embark upon an extensive home building scheme in Sydney suburbs and country centres. To enable properties to be erected by contract a rural bank will advance to home builders 75 per cent, of the value of their security, repayable in 30 years. The Government will advance a further 10 per cent., repayable in 10 years. Interest charges in both cases will not exceed 5 per cent. Advances will be limited to homes of a value of £IOOO.
