Captain G. Kinnell is in command of the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Ruahine, and his officers are:'— Chief, Mr D. Hughes; second, Mr A. Hocken; third, Mr F. R. F. Wilson; fourth, Mr D. S. R. Martin; chief engineer, Mr D. Corbett; second, Mr A. Berry: third, Mr W. B. Niven; fourth, Mr J. B. Johnston; chief refrigerating engineer. Mr L. Butterworth; wireless officer, Mr F. Bedford: surgeon. Dr. R. J. Rankin: steward-in-chargc, Mr T. Leaner. Captain W. A. Gray has taken command of the Waimarino, relieving Captain A. H. Prosser for holidays. Mr W. J. Hill, late chief officer of the Wainui, is now taking holidays at Wellington. Mr E. A. Cox has joined the Kartigi as chief officer, relieving Mr T. A. MacPherson, who will go to Sydney for holidays. Webling is joining the Maunganui as sixth engineer, and Mr F. Maclndoe is being relieved for holidays. Mr E. M. Den by is being relieved from the Monowai for holiday leave, and Mr J. B. Campbell joins the Monowai as eighth engineer. Mr R. S. Dickie has rejoined the Gnbriella as chief engineer after being ashore on sick leave.
