A Berlin report states that Provident von Ilindenburg has awarded the Goethe medal to Mr Campbell Dodgson, who for 20 years has been Keeper of the Prints and Drawings at the British Museum, in recognition of liis research into the engravings of Albrecht Durer. IMr Dodgson published a catalogue of the engravings of Durer (1471-1528), who rank? as the greatest of German artists, and wrote introductory notes to 1 lie publications of the Durer Society. I
