The new Commonwealth and Dominion Line ship will have 465,000 feet of refrigerated space, including gastight compartments for chilled beef. A new type of Doxford fabricated Diesel engines will give her an estimated speed of 16 knots. Her measurements are 492 feet in lenglh, and 65 feet beam.
