BIBLE CLASS CONFERENCE
The thirteenth annual Bible class conference and camp are being held at Methven, 120 members from all parts of New Zealand attending. The members and officials ■were welcomed on behalf of parishioners by Mr Stanley Smith. Messrs W. C. Battson and A. W. Brewer also ,spoke. The Rev. N. S. Barnett ("Dominion president) thanked the speakers for their welcome. He stated that the main object of the camp was for the better fitting of youth for Church life and for their place in the community. The movement was deserving of every support. Canon S. Parr (camp commandant) and Captain Kee, of the Church A jmy, expressed appreciation for the work that parishioners had already done for them. On Wednesday the camp was begun in earnest. Members celebrated Holy Communion at All Saints* Church. An address was given by the Rev. W. J. Hands. A swimming carnival scheduled for the evening was postponed owing to the cold and wintry conditions.
