WAITANGI
Waitangi, Seed of Nationhood. By A. D. McKinlay. Whitcombe and Tombs Ltd. This interesting booklet summarises in attractive form the main events leading to "the great occasion when the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi ushered in the dawn of pur nationhood." The booklet is well illustrated and directs timely attention to one of the least known but most picturesque parts of the Dominion. The author is anxious to correct a misstatement in it that "Mt. Hobson has been fittingly re-named 'Mt. BledisloeActually the name "Mt. Bledisloe" has been given to a different hill in the same locality, and Mt. Hobson still remains.
