— ; — ATTACK OF LARYNGITIS NEW YORK, October 15. Rear-Admiral R. E. Byrd is confined to his bed in a hotel at Norfolk, suffering from an attack of laryngitis. It was announced by Dr. Shirey, the Antarctic expedition's doctor, that ii his condition is not improved this afternoon he would call other doctors into consultation.
