ENGLISH ATTACK ON I LARWOOD BOWLER URGED TO STOP TALKING ! LONDON, October 16. The "Yorkshire Post," in a leading article on the player-journalist ! nuisance, headed "Shut Up," says, •'H. Larwood is telling the world what he will do and what he won't ■do regarding body-line bowling but it is a comforting fact that in the test matches he will do what lie is told. This hardly excuses his tactless blusterings. He rushed into print as soon as the team returned. Apparently he is afflicted with a tendency to explain himself. No harm will be done to our relations with Australia if Larwood for cne is restrained from such outbursts." OPERATION ON LARWOOD COMPLETE RECOVERY HOPED FOR LONDON, October 16. The surgeons report satisfactorily operating on H. Larwood's foot and removing a thickened and inflamed bursa with the underlying sesamoid j bone. There good prospects of j a complete recovery.
