THIEVES ACTIVE
Thieves entered the home of Mr D. M. Halliday, at 20 Onslow street, St. Albans, on Monday afternoon, and stole 25s in money, some rings, and a silver cigarette case. Entrance was gained through a side window into a bedroom. The tobacconist's shop of Mr A. Smail, at 220 Ferry road, was entered on Monday night and a quantity of tobacco removed.
