Qa Y.W.C.A. The annual meeting of the Lyttelton branch of the Young Women's Christian Association will be held in the association rooms, Norwich quay, to-morrow night. An address will be .given by Mrs C. Young, principal of St. Margaret's College. Harbour Light Theatre. "His Wife's Mother," the biggest and brightest British comedy since "My Wife's Family," is the chief attraction at the Harbour Light Theatre to-night. The cast is headed by Gus McNaughton, one of the comedians of "Maid of the Mountains," and Jimmy Godden. The supporting programme includes a Pathe Gazette, Pathetone Weekly, "Dual Control," an aviation interest picture, and a nature study. Billiards. The Lyttelton Club's weekly flyingfifty billiards tournament on Monday night was won by A. Albertson. L. Fenton was the runner-up. Tennis Popular. Tennis lias become one of the most popular sports in Lyttelton in recent weeks, although the season has iust commenced. The two courts on 'the upper terrace at the children's playground, on the former site of the gaol, are much in demand. Adults are permitted to use the courts in certain hours, on payment cf a small annual fee, and recently the first players have been arriving as early as 5.30 a.m while by 0.30 there are usually a number of players waiting. More courts are needed in Lyttelton, and it is suggested that at least one additional court could be laid out on the lower part of the playground, at present little
