Teddy Steward, a patient in Pontypridd 110.-piial. cherished a dream that on Jits ninth birthday he would meet the Duke of Gloucester, who was to visit the hospital, but Toddv recovered and was discharged, full of lament. The nurses sprang a surprise and told him to return to-day. They tucked him into a cot where the Duke talked to him for a lew minutes.
