ST. BEDE'S COLLEGE OLD BOYS
ANNUAL REPORT The St. Bede's College Old Boys' Association has experienced a successful year, according to the annual report, , which will be presented to the annual meeting of the association on Sunday, October 22. "The membership of the association now stands at 321," states the report. "Considering the times the accounts disclose a sound position, and the amount of cash in hand is very safefactory. The debating branch has had a successful year. Arrangements for the garden fete to be held in aid of the college funds on November 24 and 25 will be discussed at the annual meeting. The Easter conference was an unqualified success, as was the anv nual dance. "The annual cricket matches against the present boys resulted in a win for the old boys in both games. New Branches. •■ "During the year a branch of the association has been formed on the West Coast, and permission has been given to the old boys in Dunedin to form a branch. . . The reports from other branches will be to hand at the annual meeting." In conclusion, the report expresses the thanks of the association to all who have assisted it during the year. Special mention is made of the hospitable way the old boys are welcomed at the college. The statement of accounts shows an excess of income over expenditure of £9 3s 6d, and an excess of assets ovef liabilities of £IOB 16s Bd.
