® —-—\.-.; THREE HOUSES ENTERED Thieves entered a bach on the new Esplanade at South Brighton during last week and stole tables, chairs, bedding; crockery, clothing, and other goods of a total value of about £25. When the theft was discovered all the doors and windows appeared to be intact. The house of Mr George Lewis, 462 Avonside drive, was entered on Friday afternoon and jewellery valued at several pounds was taken. The home of Mr R. W. Owens, of 762 Gloucester street, was also visited and 38s taken. Both houses were entered through windows while the occupants were absent.
