CANTERBURY COLLEGE REVIEW
- <t — - At: an expression of the eontempaiary outlook oi' university students the latest number of the "Canterbury College Review'' is interesting. Most of its critical writing has to do with purely literary matters, but there is a discussion of the place of the college in modern life—it is accused of being asleep—and the editorial comments deal with freedom of speech, the quality of the New Zealand education system, and the relation between degrees and culture. There is more verse than usual this year, some of it (notably "The Harmony of Height") revealing an original outlook. The publication is well printed and its format is pleasing.
