BUSINESS MEN'S CLUB
The annual meeting of the Christchurch Business Men's Club will be held on October 16, at the Frascati. After the business of the meeting Mr J. Mawson Stewart will give an address, his subject being "A Toast to Women." The talk will be of a humorous nature. The statement of receipts and payments for the year ending September 30 shows receipts, including the balance brought forward, to have been £26 7s lid, with a balance at the bank of £6 4s 7d. The balance-sheet shows an excess of assets over liabilities of £9 lis 7cL
