The National Labour Council, comprising representatives of the Trade Union Congress, the Labour parly, and the Parliamentary Labour party, to-day considered the Austrian situation, and made a statement that Austrian democracy and the workers' organisations were threatened by fascism, which had already destroyed political and industrial freedom in Germany and Italy. The council is arranging a campaign of meetings in Britain to support the Auslrians in their struggle for freedom.
