ATTACK ON HOUSE OF LORDS
LABOUR PEER'S VIEWS LONDON, October 3. At the Labour party conference at Hastings, Lord Ponsonby said: "Only someone sitting in the House of Lords realises the necessity of its abolition. I welcome the Socialist League's proposal to ask the King to appoint COO new peers, but I doubt whether it is the best method of tackling the problem, as a revision of the whole parliamentary machine is essential."
