SELECT COMMITTEE RESUMES WORK LONDON, October 2. The examination of the Indian constitutional problem started six years ago by the appointment of the Simon Commission will reach another stage on October 3, says "The Times" On that day the Joint Select Committee on Indian Reforms will meet at the House of Lords under the chairmanship of Lord Linlithgow and will hear further evidence from .Sir Samuel Hoare, Secretary of State for India. It is estimated that the committee will have several more months ot work before it is able to report to Parliament on the future-Govern-ment of India. Probably that will not be possible before March.
