The monthly committee meeting of the Spreydon Public Library was attended by the following members: Messrs L. C. Jolly (in the chair), S. Scouse, S. Clark, J. R. Waters, J. J. Jarden. E. McPherson, F. Brown, E. Fehsenleldt, Mesdames A. Cottee, R. Thompson, R. Smith, M. E. Marks, ■&', Ryan, and E. Eaton. The librarian reported that 1255 books had been issued. 690 subscribers had attended, and there were six new subscribers. The book-buyers' report showed that 45 new books had been placed on the shelves, of which 11 had been presented. The recently-opened reading-room was becoming very Popular.
