WINTER SHOW.
ATTRACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT.
When this year's Winter Show and Exhibition opens in the King Edward Barracks next Saturday, a particularly wide range of new attractions ill be presented for the entertainment of visitors. Every day there will be a free competition with a first prize of £1 and a second of 10. for the nearest estimate of the a idance for that day. A monster tug-of-war championship will be conducted during the
evenings of August 5, 12, 16, and 19. The annual rabbit show also has widespread interest. The musical programme has been extended this year, and better provision made lor the sideshows. Day and night, this year's Winter Show and Exhibition will provide exceptionally good entertainment for everyone.
