The handcraft exhibition room promises to be an unqualified success, and the secretary has had to turn away many applicants who wish to exhibit goods, because the space available, though much more than last year, is not nearly adequate for the number of those desiring to exhibit. Everything points to the show beinj? a great success this year, which will mean that not only will encouragement be' given to local manufacturers, but the relief fund will benefit, as 25 per cent, of the profits of the show are to be given to the Metropolitan Relief Association. Quite apart from the exhibits, which this year will be even more interesting than those of past years, the show will provide a number of new and special attractions that will contribute to the interest and entertainment of all who attend. Among these is a monster tug-of-war championship, to be pulled on the evenings of August 5, 12, 16, and 19. Entries for this close on Wednesday, August 2, and the draw will be published in Friday's papers. The annual rabbit show will also be I a feature of the show.
