CITIZENS' BALL.
J Amongst the most important social gatherings during Grand National Week will be the citizens' ball, to be held in the Caledonian Hall on Wednesday, August 9. The committee Is working hard to arrange a thoroughly enjoyable ball, and at the same time to make a substantial profit, which will be given to the Women's Auxiliary of the Business Men's Relief Committee. Continuous music will be supplied by two bands, a hot supper will be served, and artistic decorations will be carried out in the hall, supper room, and buffet. Tickets are now on sale at Ballantync's, Beath and Co.'s, The Bristol, General Trading Company, the leading hotels, and from members of the committee.
