TYROLIAN GARDEN CAFE.
The "Blue Danube" is undoubtedly the most popular piece of music in the world to-day. No cabaret or ball is complete without it. The waltzes of Vienna are the dances of the moment; the Viennese cabaret is the cabaret of to-day. Singularly happy then, is Mr Dundas Walker's choice of the beautiful "Blue Danube" for his pas de deux with Mrs Norman Balchelor at the forthcoming Tyrolian garden cafe on the night of August 11 Mr Walker, who has danced as a soloist at most of the London West End music halls and theatres, and especially at Daly's Theatre, is a native of Cliristchurch, and is visiting New Zealand after a varied and most successful career as dancer and actor in England and on the Continent. He had not intended making any professional appearances in this country, but lias kindly cons: .ted to perform at this cabaret, which will be held in aid of the Plunket Society at the Caledonian Kail.
