♦ ♦ RL'GBV UNION. iSI'fcOIAL. TO THE I'XP.Sj.i REEFTON, July 27. The weekly meeting of the Inangahua Rugby Sub-Union was held last evening. Present: Messrs Hepburn (chairman), Archer, Reid, Crossman, Palmer, and Kcarns (secretary). A match was arranged with the Waimangaroa United Club for Sunday. Messrs Hepburn, Archer, Crossman, and Reid were appointed to a committee to act in conjunction with the gymnasium trustees. Fixtures and referees for this :eek:— 2 p.m., Town v. Country juniors, Mr Bradley; 3 p.m., Inangahua v. Waimangaroa, Mr J. Crossman. The Waimangaroa United team is the winner of the Buller competition. It includes the following players: Hill, Wells, Neighbours, Simpson, Loder, Griffiths, Fairley, Stewart, Corry, Lowther, Jack (2), Martin, Robertson, and Johnson. The Inangahua team will be picked from the following: Boi o, Culling, Dellaca, Allen, Smith, Robertson, O'Malley, Prentice, YellOwlees, Hewispn, McKane, Hunt (2), Adams, Maloney, Turner, Long, McAlpine, Burnett, and Harwood. At the meeting of the Rugby Union committee with the trustees of the gymnasium fund, the erection of the gymnasium was discussed, and it was stated that a further £l5O would be required. The Rugby Union stated its intention of assisting to raise the necessary amount. Rugby League. The following players will represent the junior team of the xieefton Rugby League Club in a match with Greymouth Marist in the curtain-raiser to the representative match: D. Robertson (captain), J. Crowley, N. Kiely, J. Howard, S. Carter, A. Parrish, A. Watson, J. Patterson, M. Turner, W. Barrow, R. McMahon, P. Lewis, J. O'Connor, and T. Sullivan. Personal. Messrs H. Nahr, A. Colvin, and F. Keating were visitors to Reefton yesterday.
