Lambert, M.P., beat the Prince of Wales 5 up and 4 to play, in the final of the Parliamentary golf handicap at Coombe Hill, the Prince of Wales conceding four .strokes in 36 holes.

CHRISTCHURCH CLUB. HENNISTON (LP AND BOGEY MATCH. The late startei's at Shirley on Saturday had the better part of the drizzly weather when the qualifying round for the Denniston Cup was played in conjunction with a bogey match. Some good gross scores were recorded, including a 73 to P. R. Godby, who won the senior division off the live mark with 5 up, and a 74 to A. R. Blank, who finished all square from scratch. The draw for the first round of the Denniston Cup, decided by match play on handicap, is as follows;—P. R Godby plays A. B. Jones, M. K. Gray plays F. G. Bristed, A. R. Blank plav.s B. G. RICHMOND HIU' CLUB

The first round of the Rawnslcy Cup was played at Richmond Hill on Saturday afternoon. The course was a trifle heavv after the rain, but conditions improved later in the afternoon The second round will be played next Saturday, and the pairs returning the Lest eicht net scores will play■ ofl under match play conditions for a prize given by Mrs Bruges.
