JAPANS TRADE POLICY.
AUSTRALIAN COMPLAINTS. NEGOTIATIONS FOR AGREEMENT LIKELY. (UXITED CTESS ASaOCIATIO::—BT ELECTBIC TELEGRAPH— COPYRIGHT.) (Received July 11, 10.15 p.m.) CANBERRA, July 11. Strong representations have recently been made tc the Commonwealth Government against what is described as Japanese dumping. The Government, according to the Sydney "Sun," intends to open negotiations for trade agreements with Japan, suggesting that as Great Britain's interests are so deeply involved, such agreements should in future be of a three-party character. The Government anticipates that the British views on the subject will be forthcoming shortly, through the Australian Resident Minister in London, Mr S. M. Bruce.
