BOY MISSING.
CLOTHES FOUND IN DRIFTING DINGHY. The finding of a dinghy drifting near the reef in Lyttelton Harbour yesterday morning containing clothing and sea-boots, led to "enquiries being made by the police, and it was learned that the clothes belonged to a boy named David Skoech Wilson, aged 17 years, whose parents reside in Cornwall road, Lyttelton. The boy was last seen about midday on Monday, when he was in the dinghy in the inner harbour. When found, the clothing was soaked with water. It is feared that the boy has been drowned, although the presence of the clothing in the boat is rather inexplicable, as it is considered unlikely that the boy would indulge in a swim at this time of the year. The description of the boy is as follows:—Height 5 feet 7 inches, fresh complexion, with freckles, red hair, blue eyes.
