BOXING.

NOVICE TOURNAMENT. For to-night's novice boxing tournament, to be held at the Caledonian Hall under the management of the Christchurch Sports Club, excellent entries have been received. In addition to the numerous novice contests, there will be a heavy-weight open bout between Pat O'Sullivan and W. F. Wilcockson, which should be full of incident, as both are reported to be at the top of their form. To avoid congestion at the entrance, doors will open at 7.15 p.m., and the first bout commences at 7.45 p.m. Prices are Is and 2s (plus tax).
