Applications for four power extensions were reported by the Electricity Committee to the Christchurch City Council last night. Thev were (1) lOh.p, with provision for another 60h.p., (2) an additional 46h.p., (3) 160h.p. replacing lOOh.p (4) an additional 70h.p. "While possibly these applications should not be interpreted too optimistically they are at least heartening,' commented the committee.
