COURTENAY A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.
At a meeting of the general committee of the Courtenay Agricultural and Pastoral Association the president, Mr Geo. Begg, was in the chair. The following members were present: Messrs D. Gallagher, A. Hanson, W. L. Scott, R. S. Roper, G. R. Bedford, C. G. Jarman, T. Vaughan, M. V. Davis, J. D. Penney, G. R. Seaton, F. McNae, J. D. Henderson, and the secretary, Mr R. W. McMeekin. A vote of sympathy was passed with the family of Mr Alexander Duthie, who died recently. The Kirwee Ladies' Hockey Club was was granted the use of the grounds for the season. As the Malvern Agricultural and Pastoral Association were conducting their own side-shows at their forthcoming show on April 22, it was decided to support them. Messrs J. S. Tolerton and J. D. Gallagher were elected members of the association, and in recognition of long and faithful services to th? association Mr R. W. Wilson was elected an honorary life member.
