MAJESTIC THEATRE.

"CHANDU THE MAGICIAN." With the versatile Edmund Lowe in the title role and a well-knit and intensely dramatic plot revolving about tho invention and theft of Regent's mysterious death-ray bv the fiendish Roxor, "Chandliu, the Magician," the feature at the Majestic, Theatre, sets a new high mark for screen noveltv " and entertainment. Lowe's work as the master of Yogi mysteries, whose magic abilities are strained to the utmost in rescuing the hnpless inventor and his family from Roxor's clutches, is tlie outstanding player of the cast. But dramatic honours also go to Irene Ware the "Vanities" beauty making her initial film appearance as tho Princess Nadji, to Beta Lugosi as the vindictive Roxor, and to Henry B "\Valthall as the inventor. Herbert Mundin, in a Cockney part, supplies most of the comedy touches.
