TIMBER WORKERS' DISPUTE
AGREEMENT REACHED. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEQBiM.) DUNEDIN, August 19. A sitting of the Conciliation Council was held to-day before Mr S. Ritchie to hear the industrial dispute between the Otago Timber Yards and Sawmill Employees' Union and the employers. After a long hearing 9 complete agreement was reached on all matters with the exception of the questions of under-rate workers, which was deferred to the Arbitration Court.
