MORAL STANDARDS TO-DAY.
TO THB EDITOR O* THE PBBSB Sir.—l am thankful that people &ro awake enough to the realities of cause and effect to endeavour to throw light upon the above subject. I am veiy rorry for the rising generation of today. They are starting out on life's journey with a very big handicap, having'to reap where others have sown, t;> the detriment of health of mind and body. The human race is reaping today the sowing of thousands of years. Man's inventions to-day make it easy to live by a lower moral standard. This terrible falling away, with its accompanying calamities, is the effect of lack of knowledge. Ignorance of consequences is largely'to blame. "Wo only need to look at our hospitals, mental and physical, to see that we are reaping a harvest of evil doing. Most people to-day recognise that the whole world is reaching a crisis.— Y om^ etc., August 10th, 1932.
