The Biga correspondent of "The Times" says women intend to shame the coal miners into greater activity. They have been engaged in the l Donetz Basin coal-pits, the Soviet having waived the provision in the Labour code prohibiting the employment of women underground. The women work alongside the men at the coal face, assisting the hewers, acting as trimmers, and working magnificently.
