1 SKIING. Taking advantage of yesterday's holiday for tlio races, between 70 and 80 ski-ers visited Mt. Herbert for a day in the snow. It is reported that conditions have improved considerably since the week-end, and that the snow should last for a -week or two at least. Sailing Boat Salvaged. A Takapuna sailing punt was found floating in mid-harbour near the. Heads a fow days ago by tho signalmen at Adderley Heads. It was taken into Little Port Cooper, where it now awaits a claimant. Holy Trinity Church. A Confirmation service will be held at Holy Trinity Church on Sunday next, when a number of candidates will bo presented to Bishop "Wost-Watson for Confirmation. Harbour Light Theatre. Gene Gerard and Muriel Ahgelus, who delighted audiences in "Let's Lovo and Laugh," will be seen in an oven greater comedy, "My Wife's Family," at tho Harbour Light Theatre to-night, to-morrow, and Friday. It is a hilarious story of a pair of newly-weds. There is a good supporting programme.
