FINAL DAY. PIGEON CHAMPIONSHIP DECIDED The New Zealand trap-shooting championships were brought to a conclusion yesterday at the Christchurch Gun Club's grounds at Sockburn, when tho New Zealand pigeon championship was decided. Both S. Andcrson and H. Grennell secured the maximum of "1 birds, this necessitating a shoot-off for tv-"championship, which was then won by S. \nderson. Anderson therefore won both the pigeon and the sparrow championship, and R. Amst the clay-bird championship. A nine-bird sweepstake handicap, first miss oui, "resulted in a tie between five competitors.
