DOUBLE FEATURE PROGRAMME. There is as much excitoincnt and action ns one might wish for in the comedy "Borrowed Partners," which is now showing at the Liberty Theatre, the leading roles being taken, by Kex Lease, Paul Hurst, and Vera Reynolds "Dangerous Years'* is a drama which dealß with the temptations which beset growing children in a modern town. It shows how easy it is to condemn a lad to a lifetime of crime if his case is not handled by those who know the value of tolerance. A strong cast is headed by Doris Kenyon, Beryl Mercer, and Spencer Tracey. EMPLOYEES OF DAIRY FACTORIES. PROPOSALS FOR NEW AWARD. (ratSS ASSOCIATION TELEQJIAII.) WELLINGTON, August 6. The Cheese and Butter Factories Employees' Union has received proposals from the employers for a new agreement setting out an all-round reduction in wages, dispensing with the status of second, third, and fourth assistants at many factories, making provision for 1000 gallon vats, drastic alterations U> the award generally, and unlimited hours at cheese factories. The employees have unanimously decided to reject the proposals.
