SUPERANNUATED PUBLIC SERVANTS.
ANNUAL MEETING OF BRANCH. The twelfth annual meeting of tho Canterbury and "Westland" branch' of the Federated Association of Superannuated Public Servants was held yesterday afternoon, Mr F. Vernnzoni presiding over a large attendance of members. The annual report referred to the increase of tho membership from 141 to 162 during tho year, stating that this was a matter for congratulation. A very live central executive had kept closely in touch with public questions affecting members, and was able to report favourably on the present position. Tho balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £ls 4s lOd. Tho following officers were elected: — President, Mr F. Vcrnazoni; vicepresidents, Messrs J. S. Barnett aud G. Whiteiaw; lion, secretary a«d treasurer, Mr A. C. Truman; hon. auditor, Mr J. B. Campbell; committee. Messrs T. M. Fowke, R." Crawford. W. T. Gale, W. Cassells, \V. J. Barker, A. Bamberrv, and W. J. Elliott; delegate to Domiuion Conference, Mr A. C. Truman.
