The famous Guinness drav horses, which for so many years have been a feature of Dublin streets, will shortly bo seen no more. They ure being ousted by motor transport, which has been found more economical. The horses cost about 200 guineas each. Guinness always bought the best, and the horses were specially bred for hard work. Tt was only sentiment which ensured that the Clydesdales were kept fo long. They will all be sold with the exception of those which are too old. These will be "pensioned" and will be ■ well looked after until they die.
