GERMANY'S. NEW CABINET.
MILITARY DRIVING FORCE. COMMENT IN LONDON. (united tress association —si electbic TEIEOBAPH—COPtEIOHT ) (Received June 2nd, 9.20 p.m.) LONDON, June 1. The Berlin correspondent of the' '"Daily Telegraph" says it is a mistake to assume that the change in German leadership is necessarily a misfortune to Europe. It is certain that President Hindenburg has no intention of putting Germany under the dictatorship of Herr Adolf Hitler. Besides the nickname of the "Monocle" Cabinet, the Ministry will be known as the Schleichter Cabinet, for although : t is headed by Herr von Papen, there is little doubt that Geneal von 'Schleichter will provide the driving force. NEW CABINET FORMED. REICHSTAG NOT CONSULTED. BERLIN, June 1. Herr von Papen formed a Cabinet without consulting the Reichstag, solely on the President's approval. Tho Centre Party decided to vote against ■ the Government, as the result of which President Hindenburg is dissolving the House to-morrow without even troubling to convene it. Germany will be ruled by President Hindenburg, Herr von Papen, and General von Schleichter, as Minister for Defence. A deficit of £84,500,000 is disclosed for the year ended March 31st.
