THE REDUCTION ACT. EXEMPTIONS GAZETTED. (HtfSS ASSOCIATION T»LM»AU.) WELLINGTON, June 2. An Order-in-Couneil gazetted tonight excludes from the operation of the reduction of fixed charges under the National Expenditure Adjust) nt Act, the following classes of contracts: (1) Leases and licenses of pastoral runs issued under part 6 of the Lands Act, 1924, or the corresponding provisions of any former Land Act. (2) Leases of educational reserves administered by a Land Board. (3) Occupation leases issued under Part 8 of the Land Act, 1924, or the corresponding provisions of any other Land Act. . (4) Licenses for the occupation of pastoral lauds within mining districts issued under the 1924 or any former Land Act. (5) Leases and licenses issued under the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Acts.
