UNEMPLOYMENT IN BRITAIN.

Britain's unemployed on April 25tn totalled 2,652,181, an increase of 84,849 compared with March 21st, and 132,068 above the corresponding period or last year. This is due to the large number of industries which have temporarily stopped, mostly coalmining, in which industry the unemployed have increased to 63,000.
