NATIONALISTS PARADE STREETS. A COMPLICATED SITUATION, (UNITE© PBESS ASSOCI4TIOW—ST KUtCTSIO . TELEGIJAPH—COPrBCGHT.) .- MALTA, May 9. The violence of the Nationalists, who are parading the streets shouting "Viya Italia!" and "Down with England!" may cause the postponement of the elections. The situation is complicated by tin Archbishop of Malta's pastoral letter of 1930, forbidding Catholics to vote for Lord Strickland (Prime Minister), and which will not be withdrawn until - leal peace is established. Lord Strickland is understood ,to have made a second peace gesture, and to have apologised to the Vatican.
