SUNDAY CONCERT.

A concert organised by the Christchurch Returned Soldiers' Association in aid of the fund for the relief of distressed returned men drew a large audience to the Civic Theatre last evening. Admission was by a silver coin, and the gross takings amounted to £l9 Is 7d. The recently-formed Christchurch Returned Soldiers' Orchestra provided the main part of the programme, which fully justified the interest shown in the concert. The artists who assisted were Miss Elaine Moody's party, Mrs Frank Moran, and Messrs Les Grummit, Jack Oxley, E. Dowcll, and Len Cummins.
