Two interesting aspect 3 of the depression wero disclosed to-day at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Opera, the most noted American musical body. It was announced that the company's capital had been wiped out by its losses this season, which was the worst-attended in the history of the organisation, and that the future was soriousiy in question. It is likely that Rockefeller's may have to come to the company's aid. To-night Mr J. P. Morgan made his first radio address, and one of the few speeches of his career, appealing for funds for unemployment relief, for the discovery of silent 1 want, and for its amelioration.
