CANTERBURY DETACHMENT FOR PAGEANT. " « Five Air Force machines and four from the Canterbury Aero Club' "will take part in the air pageant to bo held afc AVanganui on Saturday. In addition, two Otago .Aero Club machines, two from Southland', iand a North Island machine that has been. . used in a refresher coarse in the south will be flown to "VVauganui. . , Squadron Leader J. L. Findlay, who will be in charge of the Air Force detachment, left for Blenheim yesterday, flying, a Moth. To-day Flight! Lieutenants H. B. Burrell, Sornereet-Thomas (Permanent Air Force), K. Hall, and N. H. Barlow (Territorial Air Force), will fly north in charge of a. Bristol Fighter, a Moth, and two Tomtits. These machines will continue; on to Auckland after the pageant to take part in the No. 1 (Army co-operation) - squadron refresher course. - The Aero Club Moths, piloted by Messrs J. 0. Mercer, J. J. Busch, <£ B. Myhre, and J. Adams, will return on Sunday, provided weather eondw tions are suitable. .. ,
