The visitors captured two wickets for fourtoen runs, but Bradman and McCabe then took a hand and raised tho total to 102 in 80 minutes before McCabe was splendidly caught. Batting with his usual freedom Bradman continued to give a delightful exhibition. Ho was particularly severe on McMillan. The scoring was fast, 350 taking 327 minutes, although five wickets had fallen by this time. Bradman's century occupied tho same length of time. Oldfield played a captain's part, staying with Bradman while 99 were added for tho sixth wicket. The bowling was never really loose, but Bradman continued at a terrific pace with shots to all parts of the field, hia chanceless 219 runs taking only 23-1 minutes. He his fifteen fours.
