The Wellington Permanent Building Society, in its balance-sheet for tha year ended November 10th, shows that the total revenues at £8224 increased by £7Bl compared with the previous year. The net profit was £4735, an increase of £729. Adding the amount brought forward from the previous year, there was available £4898, out of which an interim dividend amounting to £1856 was paid, leaving , £3042. A further dividend of SJ per cant, has been paid, making 7 per cent, for the year, £IOOO has been placed to reserve, and the balance of £77 carried forward. The loans on mortgage total £114,097, having been increased by £2743 during the year. It is stated in the report that the securities held ara sound and satisfactory, and it is not anticipated that any loss will be made. Mortgagors are said to be making interest and other payments with remarkable promptitude. The liabilities are: Due to depositors £50,999, creditors £925, and due to bank £36. The reserve fund stands at £ISOO. The capital is divided into A shares £51,873, and B shares £5726. CANTERBURY CO-OP. POULTRY PRODUCERS, LTD.
